finished the Vitamin A yesterday, but she lost another IV, which means
they had to put one in her right arm which they have been avoiding
because of the ligament strain. They will attempt another PICC line
today so we are keeping fingers crossed.
Sue has also informed me that the fungal infection Maggie has isn't as
common as originally thought, the hospital hasn't had one like it in 4
years. So there Maggie goes, being a trendsetter. Sue also offered
to change Maggie's diaper, and I assisted. Usually I am just the temp
guy, but Maggie wasn't a willing participant, so I closed out the
change, just like Papelbon, but without the entrance music or
dancing. Maggie also held my finger for a bit, let me just say this,
she has a Kung Fu Grip.
Also Maggie's nurse last night played a little dress up, so in a few
weeks after we get the pictures developed we may have some fun photos.
I hope to post later today when we know more about the PICC line.
