Maggie is having another good day. The only thing we are waiting on is the final dose of ibuprofen so we can get that PDA vessel closed and make sure the blood flowing to her lungs is regulated properly. The ECHO tomorrow will confirm if it's closed or not and we'll make some decisions after that. Maggie essentially just chilled out today, she did have a fun time of ripping her leeds from her chest and disengaging her CPAP. Her right arm is still in a giant sling, but she seems to be holding it better. There is speculation that the ibuprofen that is being prescribed for her PDA, is also helping reduce the swelling in her arm, so win-win. The orange tape on her left arm is not a cast, but just fun tape to hold her PICC line in place and prevent Maggie from playing with it.All in all, we didn't witness too many exciting things which is a good thing. We did spend a lot of time with the doctor on call (he happens to be the division chief) which was informative.
A peaceful day - nice!
